Tom Approved Tour

I Set My Friends on Fire will hit the road in honor of 10 year anniversary
Before Mark Zuckerburg’s Facebook was a popular social network, Tom Anderson’s MySpace (remember everyone’s top friend Tom?) was the place to connect with friends, express your individuality, and more importantly; discover great new music. Taking advantage of this platform were two high schoolers who used it to put their cover of Soulja Boy’s “Crank That” and it blew up the internet. I Set My Friends on Fire are throwing it back to 2008 with the announcement of the 10 year anniversary tour of the iconic album, “You Can’t Spell Slaughter Without Laughter,” including the single that started it all.
I Set My Friends on Fire have been a staple in the music scene ever since lighting up the site to the point they thought it had been hacked, and took the song down multiple times. Overall, ISMFOF used that success from social media to take their career to the next level.
The band has been consistently touring the world, while always remembering their roots. Guitarist Nate Blasdell shared, “It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since this crazy journey started. Although the band has gone through so many changes (from being two high school students from Miami making music after school on a laptop, to 5 best friends from all around the US touring the world), this album is the footprint that got it at all started. We are so excited to bring this throwback to the fans that have stuck with us for so long.”
“You Can’t Spell Slaughter Without Laughter” will be played in its entirety, making this a tour you won’t want to miss.
